SATC: (Dirty) Martinis Anyone? :)
And let's not forget the Cosmopolitans :D Ah, those were the days. Sometimes (often after another bout of binge-watching SATC), I feel more 35 than twenty-ish.
But in a very good way of course!
Last night, Stephie and I, together with The Girls, went to catch the Sex and the City Movie. We'd been anticipating it for days, and were practically bouncing with excitement.
With all the write-ups on the movie already, from lengthy reviews to careful dissection of the wonderful, wonderful clothes, we think it unnecessary to add our two cents worth. Let's just say that if you're a SATC fan(atic), you'll like it well enough :)
And for nothing else, the clothes themselves is definitely worth your money for the ticket!
Initially we had the best of intentions to play dress up for the movie - its the perfect opportunity to finally wear that Carrie/Miranda/Samantha/Charlotte outfit you'd conjured up in your mind! However, office dress codes and sheer laziness in the morning got in the way.
Still, Stephie ended up with a Charlotte-ish outfit:

Dress: ness
Cardigan: Zara
Pearls: Made by a friend
Hairband: Random shop in Taipei
Shoes: Random shop in Penang
Bag: LV Trevi
On the other hand, I didn't look like anyone (in the movie or otherwise *lol*)

Dress: A shop on Haji Lane
Bag + Shoes: Melbourne, Australia
Tights: TopShop
Horseshoe necklace: Helen
After the movie, we were off to the Arena for those Lycee martinis we wrote about previously.
All in all, a fabulous Thursday night!
Trot, trot love!
