There’s this new social network out now that Im sure will surpass myspace and facebook soon. The site is called www.aroundtheway.com. Aroundtheway is a social network with a focus on location based content, where everything is uploaded by the users. Which means if you’re in New York, NY, you are able to see whats going on in your area. But at the same time you can change your location to any city within the United States and be able to see whats going on around the way. The different things you can see that’ll change depending on your location are music, videos, blogs, questions people may ask, the latest fashion, and also the local community members. Yet at the same time you’re also able to see those features whether they are yours, from your friends, your community, and all the users of aroundtheway.com.

Besides the great foundation which aroundtheway is based on; they also have key features that no other social network has or will have for the simple fact that they these ideas patented. For starters they have 4way live video chat and text chat while still being able to navigate the site. The site also has internet radio stations, where you can listen to your favorite music while again still being able to navigate the site. These two features are embedded into the site so you can minimize it and see the whole screen as the site without the video/text chat and radio station. The third feature which stands out from myspace, facebook, and any other social network is the dressing room. In the dressing room you can create outfits on a mannequin and see how the clothes look prior to going to the store. It shows you what brand, color, how much it costs, and also what store you can buy it from.

My sister woke me up again this morning, asking if I wanted to join her for lunch; I said ‘yeah sure’.

We went to Sandaime Kato in sodermalm .
I like the sandaime restaurants, there are a few scattered around town, one in Slusen, one in Medis and one in Mariatorget, where we were today.
I like them because they are very nicely interiorated, really like traditional japanese inn style, cozy, exotic,
later we went to the English shop as usual, got some crisps and drink.
Damn today must have been one of the hottest days, it was insane!

Afterwards I met up with Leon in town to go shopping and chill, he has coloured his hair black again:)
Today I bought a bunch of clothes; White shorts, a White sleeve-less shirt, white and a red tank top.
Get the idea?
Yeah, I decided to update my summer wardrobe with something nice and white, all this for just about 500 kr
( plus a can of hairspray)
When I was getting my clothes I also tried on something a bit different, but I decided it wasnt quite me…

OHHHHH, in the H&M shop where I bought my new gear, there was such an amazingly pretty girl in the till…I blushed because she was so astonishing, I must go back there more often…just to see her, hehe.
Seriously!

I was also looking around for a new school bag/ manpurse/ casual bag.
Since my previous one was…soiled, I have been baglesss ever since, and I need it for when I go doing…stuff…
But in the mall we were in today there was none, I must go to Gluben or something, I know they have bags there.

We went into Puma shop just to see, there was one cool one there, bu it was so small, yet the price was great…
OOHH, There was also such a pretty little thing there too, a girl working there.
She was really nice and smiley and she said hello and goodbye to us. Ohh I blushed again!
I said to Leon that she knows me, just to sound cool…

Otherwise nothing else has happened today…came home not too long ago, now Im just relaxing, thinking about dinner and STALKER.

I also have a matter with a person I must deal with…it is pretty annoying…

Yesterday evening I had a bright spot in what has otherwise been a pretty bleak couple of weeks.  The apron that I ordered from KatieKate arrived!

And I love it so much.

The pattern is called “Farm Girl” by MaryJanesFarm.com.  And yeah, I could’ve bought the pattern myself and bought some fabric and stitched it up.  But I’m in an instant gratification mood, and it doesn’t get more instant than a conversation that goes like this:

KateohKatie:  “Sell me ur apronz!! Plz!!!”

KatieKate:  “Send me $25 or I’ll send my baby to kick your butt!  And you must potty train her too!”

KateohKatie:  “Please no! Anything but that!  Here is your $25″

KatieKate:  “Very well. I shall send you the apron you request.  And I will, for now, NOT send my baby after you.”

KateohKatie:  ::great relief::

(that was a reenactment.  KatieKate [probably] would not use her daughter as a debt collector.)

Anyway, I love this thing.

The fabric is just adorable and perfect, and of course the construction is top-notch.

And look!  Pockets!

Yes, my lovely new apron has certainly served to set my bad mood aright.

(Know what would set Jeff’s mood aright?  Chocolate chip cookies.  I think I know what I must do tonight)

Just been reminiscing about this amazing pair of jeans I used to own. Ahh, the times we’d have, those jeans and I – they travelled all over the world, and I’d had them for years. By their prime they had amassed an amazing ventilation system of holes and tears which made them perfect for wearing during the kind of insanely humid hot weather we’re having here at the moment, at the (to me, perfectly acceptable) cost of being ragged and tramp-like, so my wearing them was generally much to the horror of all my female family members. Which, I suspect, was eventually their downfall…

Sadly, at some point during the chaos when my parents were moving over to Chicago, they vanished, never to be seen again. The end of a tattered era. I still suspect conspiracy of the highest order
