I bought this bag last May. It's my only white bag, and the long straps can be taken off. So you can use it as a tote/big purse or a more convenient bag when the long straps are on! I used it a lot after I bought it, but then I just put it away. Well, I dug it up today, and used it today. I had forgot how convenient is was! White bags are very trés chic.

In reality the bag is so much whiter and brighter. I had to use the cell cam because I'm in a hurry, but want to blog for you guys. It was the only way.. Enjoy the beautiful day. The weather is amazing over here!

Today has been my day off.  I've spent it running around like a blue-arsed fly doing various things.  Firstly, I managed to post some things I'd sold on eBay.  That done, I went to Medicare and claimed some money back.  It came to a reasonable amount too, so that was a nice surprise.

Then I went to my mum's place, to pick up our ironing (her ironing lady does ours for us sometimes) and to play with the dogs.  Following that, I picked up a new split-system airconditioner which we're going to put in the unit we're renovating.  When I got home, I started photographing more things I'm going to sell on eBay - primarily clothes that aren't likely to ever fit again *snivel*.

It doesn't sound like much, but I've been busy all day, in a good way.  I am noticing however that I'm anxious for no real reason.  I have an appointment with my psychiatrist next Friday, so I'll be able to tell him.  However, I'm hoping it'll disappear between now and then. 

In other news, this is a long weekend.  I have no idea why, I just know that I have Friday through to Monday inclusive off work.  It'll be a gardening weekend - SO and a friend will be doing borders to the garden beds.  I'll be in the kitchen, organising breakfast/morning tea/lunch/afternoon tea/drinks/dinner.  And washing up.  However, all the kitchen-based activity will be worth it if we can prevent the couch from growing into the garden beds.  SO isn't quite as enthused as I am about the prospect, but then he'll be the one on the end of a shovel for two solid days, so that's to be expected.

I just finished today getting the Store updated with great new deals on Pleaser and Demonia shoes. A couple hundred (or so!) great shoes for both ladies and gentlemen at 30% off or more the list price. Lots of them are 50% off. I must confess I had the hardest time finding them all!

I will be adding more gentlemen's clothing soon. I must confess I am not very familiar with the clothing for the male creature. Will be doing more searching. Good deals are on their way, quickly, I promise!

Sometime ago, I wrote about the possibility of extending copyright protection to designer clothes. Now, The Independent [1] reports that the Scots are trying to protect the Scottish Kilt:

"The campaign is the idea of an Edinburgh-based kilt-maker, Howie Nicholsby, who, exasperated by the influx of cheap, foreign imports calling themselves Scottish kilts, got in touch with the Scottish Member of European Parliament Alyn Smith to see if they could persuade the European Commission to give the Scottish kilt protected designation of origin (PDO) status."

The protected designation of origin status is usually used to protect food though under EEC regulation 2081/92. [2]
