Gal retorted, "I eat a lot! I'm born thin. What to do?"
"Stuff somemore. Then you wouldn't accidentally show your bra there," he pointed to her chest.
For those who are thinner around the chest than the top clothing, sometimes the bra is visible from the button slit.
Solutions
Stitch a snap button/fastener on the inside of the clothing and make sure you remember to snap it :)
Use a pin to hold both sides inside the clothing. This is a bit tough and takes time to get it right because you want the top to appear smooth, not gathered.
The other way is to attach sticker - SheFinds.com has a page on and ways (products suggested too) to prevent them.
Wearing a tie or scarf to cover that part would help but not fool proof.
continue to wear sunscreen. Back then, I had started applying sunscreen - influence from mom who was afraid of getting skin cancer. She has a lot of dark spots on her skin and is deathly afraid of the sun. I always told my friends to apply sunscreen whenever we went for outdoor or swimming. 1 day my friend asked me suspiciously, "Do you wear sunscreen to school too?" I answered, "Yeah, of course! It's important!" She replied, "No wonder... you are so fair." I didn't think that was the point of wearing sunscreen but later they squeezed a lot of sunscreen to use.
shave my legs and armpits - who wants to show their hairy parts?! Maybe I'd wear baju kurung to school - then I don't have to shave anything heehee. That would make my parents scream their heads off that I was converting to Islam. Ooo.. so that was why some of my schoolmates wore baju kurung back then even though our country was hot hot hot! I know 1 girl wore it to show off the top slit. "Peekaboo," she said.
tie my long hair. Ugh. What's the tying long hair rule about? To keep it neat. Doesn't straight hair count as neat?
keep my handphone silent in school. Darn...
cut off long nails. Hehe, I can still keep long toe nails! :p
wear unaesthetic uniforms. White shirt under bright blue pinaform? Makes people look wider because the sides (white) are visible. Revolution: black/dark shirt.
apply clear lipgloss if my lips get dry. I had male classmates do that!
I'd not:
apply makeup to school or even tuition/extra classes.
pluck eyebrows so much.
wear my favourite dangling crystal earrings :( because wearing decorate long/big earrings are prohibited.
My outfit for tonight. Not the shirt/tie though...a tank top, v-neck with the opening all the way down between my nipples. And a nice necklace of course. Gorgeous, isn't it?
No, your eyes are not deceiving you. That thing is actually wearing pajamas bottoms as, trousers.
Many would laugh at such a sight the first time, take a second glance just to check that you saw right, that's fair enough. Second sighting, you laugh again and think to yourself that it must be the same tragedy from before. Third time... you KNOW it's a different person, either that or the girl from before has become obese within minutes and has dyed her hair a tacky glowing yellow color. No, no, it must be someone else. Fourth time, this is taking the piss, it must be some new trouser pattern? Tenth time, you don't even consider it strange.
This seems to be an ongoing trend in inner city Dublin these days. Whenever I dare to drive past these sort of areas, besides attaching a riot screen and a panic button, I have become acustomed to seeing young chav girls dressed in pajamas, ugg boots, and a columbia jacket or sports hoody of some description, usually stolen from the guy they slept with the night before, complete with his wallet and his freedom from any STI's.
I didn't take that picture myself, but have witnessed this pure, digusting, 'style', far too often. Just the other day infact. A girl, of about 16, crossed the road infront of the car, clutching a pint of milk, fully kitted out in her pajamas, slippers, and a jacket from primark's finest. I was half thinking of revving up and carrying on at full speed. Kate Moss would not approve. I doubt even Vicky Pollard would approve.
Makes you wonder whether they actually wash, or is it just a continous cycle of pajama wearing. I mean, you get up, shower, change, get home, shower if you wish, change, and repeat. When you take out the prospect of 'changing' you are left with, get up, go, come back, sleep, repeat. Ew.
Maybe it's just a simple message of 'I'm ready for bed, so why not chance your arm, stud?' Like the buggy they are pushing doesn't portray this message well enough.

When blogging about the Lingerie Legends contest, I about the lingerie I wore in my contest entry. It was Clara, by Insolence, and I made mention of a couple of side seam issues that had been pointed out to me. Not having nearly enough occasions to prance around in lingerie, I rarely make an effort to buy it. There's just too many other things that I Must. Buy. Now! With recent circumstances, I decided to go out and take another look at Insolence, and I am really happy I did.
Aradia, shown here in blush, is so freakin' gorgeous I had a hard time taking it off! *ahem* Okay, now that I have that out of my system, I can continue...
From the tiny little prim bows to the perfection in the texture, it is an outfit guaranteed to please even the most discriminating avatar. Priced at L$290, it's available in four different embroidery colours.
While I was there, I took the opportunity to check out everything else I've been missing, and I came across Insolence designer Camilla Yosuke's newest release, a collaboration between herself and CaLLie CLine. Sporting two versions of CaLLie's "rainbowa", one that rests over one shoulder and trails behind your back, and one that is wrapped around your neck with both ends behind you, it's a heavenly concoction of lace that you'll feel beautiful and angelic in. There are two versions of each the corset and the bra, so you can wear them with or without straps. This gorgeous set is also L$290 and it comes in a huge, beautiful giftbox.
You can find both of these gorgeous lingerie sets in Venom at .
If you are reading this page, there is a high probability that you enjoy fashion to some extent or if thats not the case, you know someone who does. And to make matters more interesting or worse, you know that your wardrobe is half-filled with ill fitting clad or in simpler terms, clothes that you don't enjoy having. The kind that you will put on to mow your lawn, stuff that you can't wear on a day or evening out. And we all do, except for those of us who are lucky to have a personal dresser to pick up the right clothes for us. (By the way am not that kind, I just wish someday I'll be a personal dresser).
What seems to be the matter? We know our sizes and we usually try clothes out before buying them, yet we continue piling up junk in the wardrobe. This is where some fashion sense comes in, we need to save money and only buy stuff thats right for us by all means. A little tip about shopping from me: don't ignore those minute details while doing shopping, because they might cost you dearly. Take time to check things out, you'll be better off with nothing than with something that you don't need!
Get some advice or opinions from friends, your dresser, and even the shopkeeper. Surf the net! And above all, know your sizes, your style and taste. Fashion ain't easy, it takes time to come by. If you wanna stand out, you ought to stand by me on this :) And if you don't want some public embarrassment, dress right; you've of course seen or heard about (by dose). No names to mention or fingers to point for now, just watch out! You might be the next victim!
Get rid of your haggard fashion and get back on track. Your fashion tells a lot about you, and its not just that, it opens up opportunities too. Better get it right!
DEAR ABBY: My name is Christian. I am 10 years old and in the fifth grade. I want to know why jeans are called a "pair." A pair is like a pair of socks or a pair of gloves. But jeans are only one piece of clothing. Unless you cut the jeans in half and still wear it. THEN you could call it a pair -- which could be embarrassing. Please let me know. -- CHRISTIAN IN BLYTHEWOOD, S.C.
DEAR CHRISTIAN: I have been asked in the past why people call trousers "a pair of pants." Technically, a "pant" is the leg of a garment. Two pants (legs) make up a "pair" of pants. Got it? I suspect that "pair of jeans" evolved from "pair of pants."

When you're first starting out on the grid, your choices are dire when it comes to stuff to wear, especially if you have little to no money to buy anything. There have been a lot of great freebies lately, so I thought I'd point the way to some.
Celeste, by , is sparkly, cute and comes in twelve great colours, a perfect little summer dress that can take you seamlessly from shopping sprees by day to steamy summer nights. Make sure to hit up her store in for this dress, and a bunch of very cute free tops that have just been released.
The hair I'm wearing here is the Alayna II, a group freebie from ETD. Elikapeka Tiramisu is currently redoing all of her textures, and to make up the lack of updates for the past while, she's dropped several hairstyles on her group members. <3 Search for ETD Update Group in the search under the group tab to join, then look in the archived notices to get your copy. Better hurry, these won't last forever and then they're gone.
Boxes scattered around the stores next to the section signs were always empty, so Nyte Caligari decided to drop a little something inside for those lucky enough to try and click one to see if anything was there (the equivalent of rattling your Christmas presents, I'm sure).
This very cute outfit by was a little bit of serendipity that didn't turn out how Nyte was expecting, which happily means freebies for us!
Nyte 'N' Day is also going to experience some major changes on September 1 or so, including new permissions for her designs (instead of being transferrable, all items will be copy/mod/no trans so as to allow more clothing layer options and guarantees if SL decides to eat your inventory), a new store build (which I've seen and it's beeee-yooo-teee-full), brand new skins (also gorgeous) and maybe a surprise or two. I'm not sure what will happen to these boxes with all of that, so best to get yourself down to to pick yourself up an outfit.
This gorgeous formal dress is by , available for a limited time only in six rich colours. I am imagining it will last only as long as this current store build does, which is supposed to change this upcoming weekend, I think. Each colour is only L$1 and you really cannot beat that. Ginny Talamasca's attention to detail does not diminish in her freebie designs, so be sure to go down to to pick all of these up before they're gone!
The hair I'm wearing in this picture is again by ETD, again one of the group freebies. It's called Anise, and it's amazingly fitting for both formal and casual wear. I think this color is Caramel, though I totally forget now. Go. Get it!
This dress is called Copacabana by , and it definitely reminds me of long nights dancing under the stars in South America. Fun, flirty and perfect for the summer, it may not stick after Moire Georgette does her store rebuild (yes, another designer who needs to expand!) Make sure to head down to to pick up this fabulous freebie (and a matching swimsuit).
The hair I'm wearing here is an oldie but a goodie from ETD, which I must admit took me a little bit of time to get used to. On the advice of friends, Ms. Tiramisu re-released this Lovely hairstyle for only L$1 for the Willow Pack! Located at on ETD Isle, it's on the top of the stand above the L$10 hair packs for avatars under 60 days old.
There is so much included with this outfit, that it needed more than one picture to show it all! Lux Yao of is a fairly new designer, but don't let that fool you into thinking the quality of her work is anything but excellent. The dress shown is called Millie, and it comes with not only the bracelets shown, but also the earrings (which will go with anything in your wardrobe nicely) and the pose shown in the picture on the left. And it's all for only L$1. Make sure to TP your cute butt down to to get this outfit!
The hair I'm wearing is Airy, again by ETD, one of the cutest ponytails on the grid. It's only L$1 for the Willow pack, and it's located right next to the Lovely hairstyle at her store, on the stand where the new beginner hair is.
So that's all I have for now, but this will have you looking very cute for nearly a week. :-)
